Engineers Without Borders Canada is a charitable organisation that works to effect systems in Canada and overseas to accelerate rural African development.
Ski Madagascar contributed to the development of Madagascar by using the interest in the first Malagasy winter Olympian to fund projects in education, hygiene, sanitation and health.

- Negotiated support for the project from Right To Play, a prominent NGO focused on using sport for development
