Interfacing is a provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software that allows business users to model, map and manage business processes and knowledge. I held two roles concurrently during the three years I worked at Interfacing. The following pertains to the Product Owner role which occupied roughly 80% of my time. The Business Analyst role is described here.
Responsibilities
- Acted as the primary point of contact for the client on a custom software project for 3 years and built a strong, loyal relationship
- Worked as an intermediary between the client and the development team to build a product that met the client’s needs
- Facilitated daily scrums involving developers, testers, the development manager, the products manager, and myself, the product owner
- Resolved team conflicts
- Facilitated decision-making by the products manager and the development manager
Accomplishments
- Built and maintained a strong a loyal relationship with the client, a Philadelphia-based not-for-profit network of major cancer research centers in the US
- Implemented the custom software with the client
