Business Process Management Consultant

Interfacing is a provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software that allows business users to model, map and manage business processes and knowledge. I held two roles concurrently during the three years I worked at Interfacing. The following pertains to the Business Analyst role which occupied roughly 20% of my time. The Product Owner role is described here.

Responsibilities


  • Contributed expertise to client business process management projects
  • Provided training at client sites on software and Business Process Management best practices
  • Facilitated process discovery, mapping and validation workshops at client sites

Accomplishments


  • Acted as a consultant for nine clients in different industries in the US (Austin, San Francisco), Canada and Australia to implement process improvement initiatives
  • The project with the client in San Francisco was a finalist in the 2009 Global Excellence in Business Process Management and Workflow Awards
